The Pepperl+Fuchs KCD2-RR2-EX1 is a high-precision, intrinsically safe 1-channel resistance repeater (isolated barrier) engineered for reliable signal transmission between hazardous and safe areas in industrial automation. As a core component of Pepperl+Fuchs’ trusted KCD2 series, it specializes in processing signals from resistance sensors and RTDs (such as Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000), converting and isolating them to deliver stable outputs for control systems. With SIL 2 (SC 3) certification per IEC/EN 61508 and global hazardous area approvals, this compact module ensures safety and accuracy in explosive environments—from chemical plants to oil & gas facilities.
